Macular Degeneration Evaluation
Macular degeneration is a chronic eye disease that can severely impact vision.
The most common type is called dry macular degeneration and is the leading cause of blindness after the age of 70. The less common wet form is more severe and can be even more disabling. Today, through early detection and treatment, eye care professionals are better able to manage this disease.
