Dr. Michele Montalbano

Dr. Michele Montalbano graduated from the University of Illinois in 1990 and received her O.D. degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1995. She is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She established Elburn Eye Care in 2000 and resides locally with her family.

Dr. Montalbano works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Montalbano’s dedication to continuing education that our TriCities patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.

Dr. Olivia Zolnik

Dr. Olivia Zolnik completed her undergraduate studies in biology and neuroscience at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She then continued her education and attended optometry school at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. During optometry school, Dr. Zolnik completed a wide range of externships rotating thru primary care, pediatric, and ocular disease settings in Indianapolis, IN, a rural hospital in western Alaska, and treated active-duty military in North Carolina.

Dr. Zolnik is passionate about providing personalized and comprehensive eye care to her patients. She is interested in optimizing visual clarity and comfort, preventing and managing ocular disease, and ensuring healthy eye growth and development. Dr. Zolnik welcomes patients of all ages and loves to see pediatric patients and their families.

When not in the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading a good book by the pool, and spending time with family and friends. Excited to start practicing in Geneva, Dr. Zolnik can’t wait to meet all her new patients and welcomes any recommendations for all the fun things to explore, see, and enjoy in the area!
